Lakehouse Remodel

The beauty and value of this 2805 square-foot, five-bedroom lakefront home were significantly amplified in an extensive renovation of the exterior, remodel of the interior, and the addition of outdoor visual enhancements.

Throughout the interior, new engineered hardwood flooring was installed as well as new light fixtures, doors, paint and millwork.

The exterior was renovated by installing new windows, replacing the existing siding with new vertical vinyl siding, and a fresh coat of paint for the trim, window frames, soffit, etc. White sand was imported and spread in the backyard and a new boat dock was installed.

UPSTAIRS:

The kitchen, living area, master suite, ensuite, and main bathroom were all remodeled.

The extensive main kitchen remodel involved removing the existing ceiling in order to install a vaulted ceiling. Removal of a wall between the kitchen and dinette area created a more expansive look. Existing appliances, cabinets, countertops and lighting were updated with contemporary ones and a backsplash was installed.

The main bathroom was completely renovated by installing a new vanity bathtub/shower, toilet and tiled floors. Additionally, the master ensuite was remodeled to accommodate a shower.

In the living area, the fireplace was updated by removing panelling on both sides of the fireplace and installing a new granite mantel.

DOWNSTAIRS:

The downstairs was remodeled to create a legal-suite, which included repositioning a wall to create a second bedroom, removing several walls in the main living area to create an open-concept and building a kitchenette. Additionally, the bathroom was remodeled to include a walk-in, wheelchair accessible shower, new floors and vanity.
